Most of my books and articles are on database topics, often the Oracle Database. You'll see my byline now and again in Oracle Magazine. My current books are listed earlier on this page, and some of my favorite articles are right here on this site.
Computer-book Editor
In my day-job, I'm what is called an acquisitions editor, which is to say that I spend my days trying to identify up-and-coming topics, and recruiting people to write on those topics. Then I help those authors design and shape their books, making me a development editor as well.
City of Munising Resident
First of all, it's pronounced "mew-nih-sing", with emphasis on the first syllable. With that out of the way, the City of Munising is located centrally on the north side of Michigan's Upper Peninsula, on the south shore of Lake Superior. Opportunities for outdoor recreation abound. And it's awesome to live in a small town with a sense of community where you can actually get to know people. Here's a satellite image drawn from Google Maps:
